Our First B Corp Month: A Celebration of Doing Digital Differently
This March, we proudly mark our first B Corp Month as a certified B Corporation™. It’s a milestone that means more to us than just a badge. It’s a bold statement about the kind of company we are and the world we want to help build.
At Reason Digital, we’ve always believed that digital can—and should—be a force for good. It’s why we started, and it’s what drives us today. So, becoming a B Corp wasn’t a shift in direction. It was a confirmation of what we’ve stood for all along.
But what does being a B Corp mean to us?
It means holding ourselves to a higher standard, not just in the work we deliver but also in how we show up for our team, our clients, our communities, and our planet. It means that profit will never come at the expense of people or purpose. It means we’re accountable not only to ourselves and our employees but also to every service user and charity beneficiary who is touched by our work.
And yes, it means paperwork. Lots of it. But more importantly, it means action.

Putting our purpose into practice
Becoming a B Corp challenged us to dig deeper, look at our processes and activities with new perspective: To ask ourselves where we’re already making a difference and where we need to do better?
Some of the things we’re proudest of since certifying include:
- Our nine-day fortnight, which gives our team more time to rest, recharge, and do what matters to them. It’s our way of saying that wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword it’s something we build into our week.
- Paying a real living wage as an accredited Living Wage Employer, because doing good starts at home.
- Keeping our team UK-based, so we can deliver work grounded in empathy, cultural understanding, and shared context.
- Embedding trauma-informed design into our research and delivery processes because good digital should never come at the cost of user wellbeing.
- Founding Impact Reporting, our sister company helping organisations track and evidence their social and environmental impact.
These aren’t grand gestures. They’re deliberate, everyday choices. They’re how we live out our mission: to partner with people and organisations who care, solving society’s problems that actually matter with innovative digital solutions.
B Corps are slowly becoming the new standard for all businesses to measure themselves against. I don't see any reason why all organisations shouldn't be adopting the BCorp way of working and it's important to me that every business i work with and/or for is working in or towards ways that are considerate to people and planet.

A team effort, always
Of course, none of this happens in a vacuum. Being a B Corp means being part of a community, one that’s working together for systems change. We’re proud to stand alongside other purpose-led businesses such as: Ella’s Kitchen, We Are Hattrick, betternotstop, and many more, who are proving that better business is possible.
But we’re even prouder of the Reason Digital team. Because being a B Corp isn’t just about ticking boxes, it’s about how you show up, every day. And our team shows up with good energy, big ideas, and an unshakeable belief that we can do better. Not just in the digital world, but in the real one, too.
Our B Corp status affirms that our values - using technology as a force for positive change, crafting ethical solutions, and putting people and planet first - aren’t just words, but woven into the way we do business at every level. As a social enterprise, we've always been about doing well by doing good, the B Corp status allows us to stand shoulder to shoulder with other social enterprises and businesses doing the same
Looking ahead
As we look to the year ahead, one of our biggest goals is to make our impact more visible. Through storytelling, reporting, and community-building, we want to show the difference digital can make, especially when it’s done with care, integrity and purpose.
We’re also keen to use our voice to lift others up. This B Corp Month, we’re encouraging our team to share why working for a B Corp matters to them. You’ll see these stories across our channels, and we hope you’ll share yours too, using #WeGoBeyond and #GenB.
After all, we didn’t become a B Corp to stand still. We did it to be braver, fairer, and more impactful. To be part of a movement that’s building something better.
