Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join us to oversee the creation of websites, mobile applications and digital services that deliver a positive social impact.  Our projects and clients demand adaptability and innovation and you must be able to combine strong knowledge of delivery methodologies with a pragmatic approach and open mind.

You will have the opportunity to work on life changing products for our clients as well as getting involved with our in-house projects. The role includes a mix of end-to-end delivery of brand new websites and apps as well as ongoing development and evolution of established products. We also provide strategic, creative, marketing and digital transformation projects for our clients.

It will be your responsibility to take ownership of a project, working with our clients and your team to deliver impactful results. We are a small, rapidly growing agency and everyone here is encouraged to take an active part in helping us to constantly improve our tools, process and culture.

  • Chat bot and virtual assistant technology to support vulnerable individuals

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivery planning, ensuring high utilisation of the team and adapting to changing demands on scheduling
  • Adapt project management frameworks or methodologies, tools and process to meet project demands
  • Report on project progress against schedule and budget
  • Maximising profitability for Reason Digital and business value for our clients
  • Identify, manage and mitigate project risks
  • Facilitate requirements capture and prioritisation
  • Ensure the scope of a project is defined and manage changes to it
  • Contribute to new business efforts – pitching, responding to tenders and estimating cost
  • Contribute to the continuous development of our tools, process and culture
  • Achieve a high level of client & staff satisfaction across your portfolio of projects
  • Take an active interest and shared responsibility for the quality of work we deliver at all stages of a project
  • Take certain executive decisions about budget, process, scheduling and more to ensure project success

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Managing digital projects such as website or application builds – ideally in an agency environment
  • Experience working with clients of varying digital maturity, technical knowledge and organisational seniority
  • Client facing experience in a service delivery or relationship management capacity
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams including strategic, creative and technical
  • Demonstrable leadership and conflict resolution skills and experience
  • Analytical, numerical and reasoning skills that allow you to make decisions about time and money
  • Problem solving skills – asking the right questions to define and work a problem
  • The experience needed to identify risks in software development projects and the skills to mitigate them
  • Enough technical knowledge to work efficiently with a technical team and ‘translate’ between technical and non-technical language
  • Skilled using IT and software to your advantage and have the ability to tailor the tools you need to get your work done
  • Direct experience of working in the non-profit or social good sector is not essential, an interest in social good is beneficial
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies and experience putting theory into practice (formal qualifications/certifications are not required but beneficial)
